Julie serves as the Managing Partner, Americas, and is a member of Reed Smith’s Senior Management Team. She is one of the founding partners of the firm’s Houston office and has served on the firm’s global Executive Committee since 2016. Her trial practice focuses on the energy and life science sectors, for which she leads a broad spectrum of high-stakes disputes before both courts and arbitration tribunals. Julie has tried multiple cases with claims in excess of $100M. As reported by clients to Chambers USA, Julie is "incredible and a fantastic standup litigator” who “is very prepared, has good trial instincts and a good presence in the courtroom.” Julie is further described as "efficient, knowledgeable, responsive” and someone who “delivers great results." The Legal 500 recommends Julie for “high-risk disputes and complex commercial litigation for oil and gas sector clients.”
