Drew Robinson is an associate in the Real Estate section of the Business & Finance Group of Reed Smith’s Washington, D.C. office. Drew focuses his practice on representing local, regional, and national owners, real estate investment trusts, developers, property managers, financial institutions, and other users in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, financing, management, development, leasing, and construction of office buildings, industrial parks, retail properties, manufacturing and industrial facilities, residential projects, and mixed-use projects.
Drew is experienced in advising clients on all aspects of complex commercial and residential real estate development projects, from conducting due diligence to closing out development. He has negotiated and prepared land use agreements, construction agreements, easements, covenants, real estate-related legislation, tax credit applications, and other real estate documents. He has experience working with planners, engineers, and other consultants to create project documents and advocate on behalf of clients before state and local boards and committees, including representing clients in administrative hearings and appeals.
