Reed Smith represents iFIT on acquisition of UK based ReformRX

NEW YORK – Reed Smith, a global law firm, advised private equity-backed health and fitness platform iFIT in its acquisition of ReformRX, a premier Pilates reformer company based in the UK. The acquisition of ReformRX will add Pilates to iFIT’s growing collection of leading fitness brands, which also include NordicTrack, Pro-Form and Freemotion.

The value and terms of the transaction remain undisclosed. The company press release provides additional details.

The transaction was led by private equity vice chair Chris Sheaffer along with partner Daryl Cue and associate Roxana Burghel, from the firm’s global corporate group. Cross-border support was provided by partners Caspar Fox, Anatoliy Rozental, Nick Breen, Philip Thomas, Lowell Bourgeois, Carl De Cicco and Will Sutton, counsel Walter Egbert, and associates Joshua Schuermann, Emily Clarke, Olga Kacprzak and Dylan Livingstone.
