Aurélie is an international dispute resolution lawyer and has been part of our Transport Industry Group since 2014. She has particular experience in shipping, port, aviation, energy, and construction disputes.
Aurélie has been involved in numerous arbitration proceedings, primarily conducted in English, under a variety of arbitration rules (LCIA, LMAA, ICC, GAFTA ) and different applicable laws (French, English, and BVI).

Acted for an Asian investment group in the framework of two LCIA arbitrations against former shareholders of a mining company related to an important phosphate deposit in Africa (London seat, BVI law, English spoken).
Acted for the owner in six parallel LMAA arbitrations brought under long-term contracts of affreightment performed in the Far East and governed by English law (London seat, English spoken).
Advised a major Asian port operator in a dispute against another port operator over a concession agreement, brought before the Hong Kong Courts.

Acted for a client on a jurisdictional challenge under an arbitration clause before the French courts (up to the French Supreme Court).

Advised and represented clients before French courts in relation to stevedoring contracts and related activities.
Advised a major aircraft manufacturer on liability issues arising from significant product and operational integrity matters, and on general commercial litigation issues.
Advised international clients on the taking of evidence in France for proceedings in the United States.
