Carla is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who helps her clients practically and efficiently tackle legal issues. She is experienced in a wide variety of intellectual property disputes, including claims based on false advertising, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and has extensive experience working with clients in the health care industry to protect their valuable intellectual property. Serving as lead counsel in jury trials and arbitrations, she has obtained significant verdicts and awards for her clients across industries. In addition to intellectual property disputes, she routinely handles complex business litigation and disputes, such as pursuing health care fraud claims on behalf of managed care clients and defending clients in lawsuits involving securities, business crimes, acquisition, and earnout disputes. Carla’s practice also includes representation of public figures, including those in the entertainment and sports fields, in both courtroom and out-of-court disputes.
