Constantin is a partner in the Global Corporate Group in Munich and was one of the founding lawyers of Reed Smith’s first office in continental Europe.

Constantin has more than 24 years’ experience helping businesses navigate the complexities of German and cross-border M&A transactions. He also advises his clients on acquisitions out of insolvency proceedings and corporate reorganisations, and guides them through general corporate matters. He also serves as a strategic advisor to boards.

Representative matters

Advised independent American music distribution, publishing, and data analytics company, Create Music Group, on its acquisition of iconic Berlin-based independent music company !K7 Music.
Advised Canadian software company Darwin CX, LLC on the acquisition of a majority stake in dsb Group, a subsidiary of the German IT group Beck Gruppe and a market-leading customer experience software platform for digital and print media in Germany and the UK. Darwin CX is a market leader in subscription software in North America, backed by First Ascent Ventures, New Era Capital Partners, and Felicitas Global Partners. The transaction establishes a leading transatlantic player in customer experience software for media companies.
Advised Aussafer Due Srl, an Italian high-tech metalworking company backed by Italian private equity investor 21 Invest, on the acquisition of a majority stake in the German peer Hailtec, a leading company in the business of ultra-high-precision metalworking for electric motors and the medical sector.
