Harrison is a partner in the Global Corporate Group. He advises on a broad range of UK tax matters, with a particular focus on corporate, finance, employee incentives, and real estate matters. He joined the firm in 2013.

Harrison has advised on numerous cross-border M&A deals, financing transactions, and EMI scheme arrangements. He also has experience in providing international tax structuring advice, particularly in the context of European real estate investment.

Representative matters

Advising Microsoft Corporation on the UK tax aspects of various M&A transactions, including:

  • its acquisition of UK-based Playground Games, a video games developer of "Forza Horizon", a series of racing games for Xbox consoles and Microsoft Windows.
  • its acquisition of UK-based Ninja Theory, a video games developer responsible for a number of renowned releases including "Devil May Cry", "Hellblade" and "Heavenly Sword"
Advising Alpha Real Capital on the UK tax aspects of a deal to purchase the ground rents for a £1 billion portfolio of three central London hotels.
Acted for Sony Music advising on the UK tax aspects of its acquisition of the recorded music business of Ministry of Sound.
