Jamie Turner

Counsel

Jamie advises clients across the financial service sector, including brokers, banks, asset managers, hedge funds, training venues, CCPs, and payment systems, on regulatory matters. As well as day-to-day regulatory advice, he works with clients on significant strategic projects, including new product launches, licence applications, cross-border M&A or restructuring projects, regulatory change projects, and the design and drafting of new regulatory regimes. Jamie also has experience supporting both native fintech clients and traditional financial services firms in navigating the evolving regulatory regimes applicable to novel digital asset classes.

In addition to his UK and EU regulatory practice, Jamie has significant experience working in the UAE advising international and regional financial services firms and regulators on the regulatory regimes across the GCC, including those of the UAE, Dubai International Financial Centre, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Qatar Financial Centre, and Saudi Arabia.
