Jonathan represents real estate developers and other entities in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the sale, purchase, financing, and leasing of real property. In addition, Jonathan concentrates his practice on the representation of banks, other institutional lenders, and commercial borrowers in complex secured and unsecured financing transactions, including term, revolving, construction, working capital, real estate-based, acquisition/purchase money, and intercreditor matters. He also has extensive experience in public and private bond financing transactions, representing institutional trustees and escrow agents.

Representative matters

Represented an international pharmaceutical company in the negotiation of a build-to-suit lease for a 760,000 square foot office building to be used as its United States headquarters in Middlesex County, New Jersey
Represented an institutional real estate investment venture in the $132 million sale of a seven-property retail and mixed-use real estate portfolio
Represented the lead administrative agent in two separate loan syndications for a single, unified development in Morristown, New Jersey, consisting of a $38 million syndicated construction loan for the development of 74 luxury condominiums and a parking garage, and a $72 million syndicated construction loan for the development of a 130-unit apartment complex atop 54,000 square feet of retail space.
