Kendall Yuen

Kendall is a legal assistant in the Litigation Department of our Hong Kong office. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Kendall obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Social Sciences (First Class Honours) from the University of Hong Kong in 2023, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in 2024.

Acting for the controlling shareholder of a Hong Kong financial institution ultimately owned by the PRC state and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange in contesting an unfair prejudice petition filed by a minority shareholder in Hong Kong.

Acting for a wealth management group in defending claims by a former senior staff member and seeking an injunction and damages for breach of non-compete and non-solicitation covenants and confidentiality provisions at the High Court.

Acting for a cryptocurrency exchange in seeking an injunction and damages against a former employee for breach of non-compete and non-solicitation covenants and duty of confidentiality.

Advising a digital payment institute and a financing institute on compliance with the Money Lenders Ordinance.

Advising corporate clients on labour disputes (such as termination of employment for misconduct and breach of restrictive covenants) and non-contentious employment matters.

Advising a bank on compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in respect of the collection of personal data in Hong Kong.

Advising corporate clients on privacy and data protection issues, including the preparation of privacy policies.
