Acting for a client entering into a sub-concession agreement with a Nigerian limited company granted the master concession to build, manage and operate the new container terminal at Lekki including the negotiation of the sub-concession agreement, review of the master concession agreement and establishment of a loan arrangement to cover the transfer of equipment purchased by the client to be used at the port and eventually to be transferred to the master concessionaire.

Review of the terms and conditions of use for three of the major LNG terminals in Europe for a commodities trading house considering the commencement of physical importation of LNG for onward supply to mainland Europe

Providing legal support to a leading European terminal operator in respect of a proposed international public offering (IPO) of shares in a terminal operating company responsible for the management and operation of Pipavav Container Terminal in Gujarat, India on the Indian markets, including assistance with the preparation of the draft red herring prospectus to be filed with SEBI

Assisting a European ferry operator in relation to the sale of two vessels to Tunisian buyers further to the sale of the client by its parent to a Danish ferry operator

Advising Barclays Bank PLC on the disposal of its precious metals vault to ICBC Standard Bank

Acting on behalf of Patrizia AG in relation to the acquisition of First Street, Manchester, a mixed used site with recently completed hotel, leisure, retail and office space together with large areas of undeveloped land with the benefit of planning consent for further commercial and residential development involving complex real estate, planning and construction aspects (including due diligence and negotiation of complex contract provisions).

Acting for a real estate client in respect of the establishment of Squirrel, an all day fast casual healthy food and drink concept in South Kensington, London.

Acting for an investment company in respect of a proposal to establish a new port in the province of Cabinda. Work included corporate structuring and tax advice, the drafting of a shareholders' agreement for local and foreign investors, project finance assistance including the draft of an Information Memorandum and commercial contract work including the drafting of the Concession Agreement to be presented to the Angolan Government for consideration, the terminal management agreement and a consultancy agreement pursuant to which our client would provide consultancy services to the newly established owning structure.

Advising an international commodity trader looking reopen an import terminal for liquefied natural gas in north-east England

Acting for a UK based property company in relation to the expansion of its hotel portfolio including the acquisition of Cliveden, a portfolio of Hilton and Holiday Inn Express hotels, the Fairmont in Barbados and the Hilton in Frankfurt.

Advising an investment vehicle on a PPP agreement for the design, construction, financing, financing, operation and maintenance of undergraduate and post graduate student hosts at Kenyatta University, Main Campus.

Corporate and commercial work relating to the proposed development of a new cruise terminal on the Ile de la Tortue in Haiti including assistance with the draft Heads of Agreement and the preparation of a shareholders' agreement as part of new corporate structure to be developed to hold, manage and operate the new cruise terminal.

Commercial work for the company responsible for the development of King Adbullah Port in Saudi Arabia including negotiation of a concession agreement for the establishment and operation of a container terminal, preparation and negotiation of a development agreement for the ro-ro terminal and of a use agreement for a leading vehicle distributor further to completion of the development, preparation and negotiation of a marine services agreement dealing with the provision of towage and pilotage services at the Port and preparation of the terms and conditions of use of the Port.
