Margaret is counsel in the Insurance Recovery Group, where she advises clients on a variety of insurance issues. She is an experienced litigator and has worked on a wide range of coverage disputes. Margaret has actively participated in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation ADR to cross-examinations at trial. Her insurance experience includes representing clients in disputes involving D&O, EPL, CGL, property, and mortgage insurance, among others. Margaret also maintains an active pro bono practice and has successfully represented clients in special immigrant juvenile status and asylum proceedings.
Margaret’s prior experience includes defending large corporations, investor-owned public utilities, and property owners during all stages of litigation in matters ranging from environmental clean-up and wildfire litigation to catastrophic losses and international real property disputes.
During law school, Margaret was an extern for the Hon. Maureen Tighe in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, a Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics, & Public Policy, and studied at the Notre Dame London Law Centre. Margaret graduated from Notre Dame magna cum kaude, where she was on the Dean’s List from 2013 to 2015 and received Dean’s Awards in Negotiations, Jurisprudence, and International Trade.
Prior to law school, Margaret graduated from the University of San Francisco, cum laude, with a B.A. in History. While an undergraduate, Margaret spent a year at the University of Oxford, where she studied medieval British history. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking.
