Shana practices in the areas of product liability litigation and commercial litigation, concentrating on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and other personal injury and commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
Most recently, Shana obtained a defense verdict in federal court on behalf of a medical device manufacturer. She also has trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout the country.
Shana has significant experience preparing current and former company witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. This includes all facets of her clients’ specialties, including sales, marketing, research, development, regulatory, and business functions. She actively prepares and defends expert witnesses across numerous disciplines and areas of expertise, working with them to develop litigation themes.
She also has experience responding to written discovery, organizing voluminous document productions, and conducting e-discovery. Shana has taken all types of depositions, including plaintiffs, fact witnesses, experts, medical providers, and witnesses in commercial cases.
In addition to her jury trial experience, Shana has represented all types of clients in arbitrations, mediations, and bench trials. She has also defended clients in toxic tort and environmental contamination matters, asbestos litigation, commercial litigation, franchise agreement litigation, and consumer fraud actions, both as individual actions and as consumer class actions. Representative clients include The UPS Store, Inc., Trane U.S. Inc., and Sunoco Inc. (R&M). She maintains a pro bono practice representing clients in landlord/tenant, prisoners’ rights, family law, and personal injury matters.
