Reed Smith has earned a place on Yale Law Women’s 2019 Top 10 Family Friendly Firms list, recognizing the firm as a leader for its commitment to family friendly policies and practices.

Yale Law Women publishes its annual report to monitor trends in gender equity and family friendliness among law firms, raise awareness of disparities within the legal profession, highlight progress being made in the industry, and identify areas for improvement. To produce the report, Yale Law Women invited all firms listed in the 2019 Vault Law 100 to participate in a survey on family accommodations and parental leave, as well as indicators of gender equity such as partnership promotions and composition of leadership committees. This year, the report also took a more intersectional approach by incorporating National Association for Law Placement data about attorneys who identify as women of color and/or LGBTQ+.
