Aquaspersions manufactures specialist chemicals for the global polymer industry. Its products allow for the dispersion of additives into polymer materials such as rubber, latex, adhesives, coatings and plastics.

CBPE is investing alongside management in order to support the continued growth of the business. The business will continue to operate from its existing facilities in Halifax (England) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The investment in Aquaspersions continues CBPE’s successful track record of investing in chemicals businesses, including most recently SAFECHEM Gmbh, on which Reed Smith also advised.

The Reed Smith team was led by corporate partner Sam Webster and banking partner Nicholas Williams, supported by Ravi Pattani, Victoria Bryden, James Hatchard and Lily Wu (Corporate), Caspar Fox and Tom Baxter (Tax) and Nicole Abbott (Banking).
