Chris is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on insurance recovery litigation and insurance-related counseling on behalf of policyholders. Chris’ practice focuses primarily on coverage under commercial and high-end residential property, directors and officers, errors and omissions, employer practices liability, commercial general liability insurance policies and bad faith matters, including those involving private equity acquisition risk, oil, gas, and alternative energy, technology, transportation and logistics risks, intellectual property liability, product liability, securities fraud, fidelity risk, fiduciary liability, and more. Chris has also litigated and tried extra-contractual (unfair claims practices and “bad faith”) claims against insurers arising out of these coverage disputes. Chris has successfully litigated and negotiated hundreds of insurance disputes with all major U.S. insurers and the London and Bermuda markets. Chris’ insurance coverage practice involves litigation, trials and arbitrations throughout the United States.
