Tariq advises clients on a broad range of structured finance matters, with a particular focus on derivatives, derivative clearing, prime brokerage arrangements and structured products. He is regularly called on to advise leading investment banks, funds and corporates due to his ability to provide commercially sound, holistic advice on both securitised and OTC derivative transactions across a range of asset classes.

Tariq also advises clients on regulatory reform, and has been actively involved in advising on LIBOR, and has authored a number of thought leadership pieces on the matter. He has assisted and advised a number of clients with their transition away from LIBOR. He also advises on matters such as MiFID II, Margin Rules and SFTR.

Tariq and his team are commended by Legal 500 for their ‘practical and targeted advice’ across structured finance matters.
