Jennifer C. Black

Jen’s environmental engineering background provides her the opportunity to tackle complex technical and effective advice related to patents, as she regularly assists clients in patent prosecution matters. She also has experience counseling clients on the viability of trademark applications and prosecuting trademark applications at the USPTO. Jen’s litigation experience is equally matched and she assists with patent and trademark enforcement matters by reviewing possible infringement and drafting cease and desist letters. Alternatively, Jen also has experience in counseling clients to strategically avoid infringing others’ intellectual property.

In addition, Jen has experience assisting clients with IP due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions and assisting with freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses for companies contemplating new inventions.
