Cheri graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2011 and went on to continue her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Hong Kong in 2015. She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in 2016 at the University of Hong Kong.
Following her admission as a solicitor of the Hong Kong High Court in December 2019, she joined the firm’s Litigation Department as an associate focussing on general commercial disputes and international arbitrations.
Her clients include PRC state-owned enterprises, HK listed companies, international private corporations and international banks.
As the firm’s pro bono associate at the HK office, she assists the firm in managing the office’s pro bono projects in HK. She provides legal support to local and international non-government organizations and lay clients (mainly foreign domestic helpers in HK) in respect of labour and employment disputes as well as personal injuries claims.
Cheri is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
