During her time in law school, Fatima gained invaluable clinical experience by representing clients in asylum proceedings. This hands-on experience allowed her to develop a deep commitment to justice and advocacy. She further honed her legal skills through externships with distinguished judges, including Judge Stephen R. Welby in the Eastern District of Missouri and Judge Kimberly K. Menninger in the Orange County Superior Court.
While attending Washington University, Fatima served as a staff editor for the Washington University Jurisprudence Review, showcasing her dedication to legal scholarship and contributing to the academic discourse in the field. Notably, she was also honored with the prestigious Scholar in Law award.
