Reed Smith achieves Mansfield 'Certification Plus’
We are honored to be named a Mansfield Certified Plus law firm for the fifth consecutive year since its inception. The Mansfield Rule certification measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered women, diverse attorneys, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys with disabilities – at least 30% of the candidate pool – for recruitment, governance roles, equity partner promotions, and inclusion in formal pitches to clients. In addition to accomplishing the baseline certification requirements, the firm has successfully achieved at least 30% underrepresented lawyer representation in leadership roles, promotions to equity partnership, and more.
Reed Smith earns recognition from Yale Law Women
Reed Smith is proud to be recognized by Yale Law Women in its 2021 Top Firms for Gender Equity and Family Friendliness report in the categories of “hiring practices,” “LGBTQ+ representation,” and “racial justice contributions.” Each year, Yale Law Women surveys Vault 100 law firms and Yale alumni working at those firms, to collect data on hiring practices, diversity in leadership, mentorship, flextime policies, LGBTQ+ representation, promotion practices, and support for new parents. This year, the survey also collected data on racial justice contributions and firms’ COVID-19 responses.
