Reed Smith Ranked Gold Standard Certified by WILEF
The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) has again ranked Reed Smith "Gold Standard Certified" for 2019, recognizing our longstanding commitment to women's career advancement, diversity and inclusion. Reed Smith has met WILEF's criteria each year since the organization began its certification process for law firms in 2011. This year, WILEF inaugurated its first UK WILEF award. Reed Smith was one of only nine firms to receive the UK certification, making us one of only three firms to meet the requirements for both the US and UK certifications.
Reed Smith Achieves Mansfield 'Certification Plus’
Reed Smith is one of 51 trailblazing firms to earn the highest designation of Mansfield “Certified Plus.” The Mansfield Rule Certification measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, LGBTQ+, and minority lawyers for promotions, senior level hiring, and leadership and governance roles in the firm.
Reed Smith Earns Recognition from Yale Law Women
Reed Smith has been named a 2019 Top Ten Family Friendly Firm by Yale Law Women, and awarded Category Honors in "Leadership and Promotions: Executive Committee Consisted of At Least 35% Women." To compile the list, Yale Law Women surveyed firms on the 2019 Vault Top 100 Law Firms list, collecting data on family accommodations and parental leave, as well as indicators of gender equality in partnership promotions and composition of leadership committees.
Reed Smith Named a ‘Best Law Firm for Women’ by Working Mother Magazine
For the ninth consecutive year, Reed Smith earned a spot on Working Mother's annual list of the "Best Law Firms for Women." The list celebrates the U.S. firms with 50 or more attorneys that are the most successful in retaining and promoting women lawyers.
