Chris’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation with a primary concentration on patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright matters. With an impressive track record of involvement in four trials over the past six years, Chris possesses a deep understanding of pre-trial litigation strategies as well as the intricacies of bench and jury trials. Notably, Chris has extensive “on-his-feet” experience, arguing motions, as well as taking and cross-examining witnesses.
His client portfolio centers on high-tech companies and products, health care organizations, and a diverse range of consumer goods companies, including food and beverage manufacturers. In support of those clients, he also serves as a member of the firm’s Retail & Consumer Goods and Emerging Technologies groups.
Beyond intellectual property, Chris brings extensive experience in handling complex commercial litigation cases, both at the state and federal levels for high-tech and consumer goods clients.
In addition to his legal work, Chris is actively engaged in the firm's pro bono initiatives. His commitment to social responsibility is evident through his involvement in representing a prisoner in a civil rights action as part of the Federal Pro Bono Project. He also stands alongside a two-time Purple Heart recipient Marine veteran wounded overseas during multiple tours, advocating for his rightful entitlement to full medical retirement benefits and addressing wrongfully withheld benefits.
