ATLANTA — Global law firm Reed Smith represented Xplor Technologies, a provider of software, payments, and intelligent capabilities to the fitness, recreation, golf and club, field services, laundry, and education sectors, as well as other membership- and service-based industries, in its acquisition of Bitlancer, which develops payroll automation and AI-powered tools purpose-built for fitness operators.

The acquisition adds fully embedded payroll processing and AI-powered business automation tools to the industry-specific software platforms Xplor’s customers already use. The combined teams will build AI-native tools for business operators, including natural-language reporting, automated payroll and compensation workflows, workforce optimization, performance benchmarking, and proactive insights, as part of Xplor’s broader effort to extend its platform beyond core business management software into integrated financial services, marketing, operational automation, and AI-driven insights.

The Reed Smith deal team was led by Chris Maxwell and included Anthony Boggs, JD Hawkins, and Sean O’Halloran.
