Campbell advises companies on the legal and business issues accompanying the development, adoption, and commercialization of emerging technologies. Her practice spans AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, technology transactions, and digital product launches. Her arrival reflects Reed Smith’s continued investment in a multidisciplinary emerging technologies platform designed to help clients navigate both the opportunities and risks created by rapidly evolving technology.

Campbell works closely with in-house legal and business teams on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related governance and compliance, as well as with M&A teams on data, software, and IT transitions and strategy. Her litigation experience also informs her counseling, particularly around data breach incident response and related disputes.

Campbell also advises clients ranging from startups to multinational companies on IoT and emerging technology product launches, e-commerce and technology transactions across industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and retail.
Her arrival builds on Reed Smith’s continued investment in its global Emerging Technologies Group, which brings together lawyers across transactional, regulatory, and disputes practices to advise clients on AI, data governance, privacy and cybersecurity, digital technologies, technology transactions, and related disputes and investigations.

Campbell joins Reed Smith from Neal Gerber Eisenberg, where she was a partner. She holds four certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals covering U.S. and international privacy law and AI governance. She earned her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law and her B.A. from Pomona College.
