Advised Aareal Bank AG on the sale of a nonperforming real estate loan portfolio (consisting of around 1,800 loans for about 1.000 real estate objects mainly for residential use, approx. EUR 345 million) to Shinsei Bank, Limited.

Advised ABN AMRO/RBS on various of real estate financings.

Advised Arminius Real Estate Opportunity Fund, L.P on the financing of the acquisition of a performing commercial real estate loan portfolio (EUR 148 million) from a large international bank.

Advised Arminius Real Estate Opportunity Fund, L.P. on the financing of the acquisition of a performing commercial real estate loan portfolio (EUR 325 million) from a large international bank. The loans are exclusively secured with German real estates.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on various real estate financings.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on the sale of a residential mortgage backed loan portfolio (approx. EUR 1 billion) to Deutsche Kreditbank Aktiengesellschaft.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on the sale of a residential mortgage backed loan portfolio (approx. EUR 715 million) to Münchener Hypothekenbank eG.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on the sale of a residential mortgage backed loan portfolio to NIBC Bank N.V.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on the sale of a portfolio (approx. EUR 455 million) of private real estate financing to WL Bank.

Advised Corealcredit Bank AG on the sale of a portfolio (approx. EUR 440 million) of private real estate financings to a Hypothekenbank in Essen. The loan portfolio comprised 4,100 individual financing deals for residential properties primarily in North RhineWestphalia including owner-occupied apartments as well as detached and semidetached homes.

Advised JER Real Estate Advisors on a number of real estate financings, including inter alia a EUR 500 million senior facility and a EUR 40 million mezzanine facility by a German bank/mezzanine provider. The financed properties included inter alia offices, hotels and residential buildings.

Advised Lehman Brothers on the purchase of a EUR 500 million performing loan portfolio from AachenMünchener Lebensversicherung AG by way of a share deal under the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz) with a subsequent asset transaction. This was the first public transaction of this kind by a German insurance company.

Represented a leading European tissue producer on its inaugural EUR 275 million offering of senior secured (high yield) notes pursuant to Regulation S and Rule 144A and on the listing of the notes on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange as well as on a new EUR 90 million Senior Revolving Credit Facility.
