Assists a global medical device manufacturer on the global implementations of its MedTech devices; advised on data protection issues and represented the client before the French data protection agencies; obtained approval and re-certification in front of the French regulator (Agence du Numérique en Santé).
Conducted several data protection assessments and GDPR compliance programs for a client in the trade and commodities sector across EU and Eastern European client entities. Provided compliance recommendations for each concerning compliance with local and international data protection laws, including in relation to HR policies, data retention, code of conduct/ethical hotline operation, data transfer between jurisdictions, notifications to data protection authorities and disclosures of data to suppliers and other third parties.
Assisted multiple international clients in several regulatory matters related to health care regulatory, anti-corruption and data privacy compliance, as well as regarding the implementation of the French Sunshine Act.
