The annual Academic Medical Centers program is designed to address the legal issues unique to teaching hospitals and academic medical centers. This program attracts in-house and outside counsel for the nation's leading teaching hospitals and provides an excellent environment for the sharing of best practices and the exploration of new issues.

The program will open with the Keynote Address given by Atul Grover, Chief Public Policy Officer at Association of American Medical Colleges. Following the keynote, a panel of experts will discuss SUPPORT, Comparative Effectiveness Research. Elizabeth Carder-Thompson will then cover the past years cases and highlights in Academic Medical Centers. The program includes many in-depth breakout sessions covering Fraud and Abuse, Health Care Reform, Media Relations, GME, Faculty Rights and Employment Law, Research, and more.
