Bankruptcy proceedings can move quickly. Contesting adverse decisions, and protecting favorable ones, must move quickly as well, otherwise important claims and rights may be lost. This session examines the procedures for appealing bankruptcy court decisions to the district court or Bankruptcy Appellate Panel level, and to the court of appeals, with a focus on differences between bankruptcy appeals and traditional civil appeals.
