JP will discuss some of the unique issues posed by the current state of the pharmaceutical industry, including: intellectual property disputes arising out of supply chains, joint ventures, licensing and compulsory licensing; global pharmaceutical companies and investments in Africa; pharmaceutical disputes arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic; and perspectives from non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations that partner with pharmaceutical companies for distribution of pharmaceutical products in Africa.
