The annual congress will take place in Singapore from August 22 to 27, 2022.
As co-chair of the congress, Eduardo de la Peña Bernal will give the welcome address to delegates during the opening ceremony on Tuesday, August 23. Later in the day, Timothy Cooke will be speaking on a panel exploring “Old tricks, new tricks: corruption in arbitration.” Read more about the session at singapore.aija.org.
On Wednesday, August 24, Eduardo will be interviewed by AIJA’s secretary general as part of the process for the election of AIJA’s first vice-president. More information can be found at singapore.aija.org.
The AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) has 4,000 active members in 90 countries and an extensive network of over 100,000 legal professionals worldwide.
The congress is expected to attract over 800 international lawyers from more than 60 jurisdictions.
