Reed Smith partner Gautam Bhattacharyya has been presented with a Client Choice Award in the Arbitration and ADR category at a ceremony in London.

Gautam is the Singapore office managing partner and specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration, especially in the fields of banking and financial services, energy and infrastructure, media and entertainment, and corporate and commercial law disputes

The Client Choice awards, established in 2005, recognise firms and partners that stand out for exceptional client service. The awards are held in such high regard because they focus on the ability to add real value to clients’ businesses.

The winners are selected following a readership survey of International Law Office and Lexology’s in-house counsel subscribers, as well as members of the Association of Corporate Counsel with over 2, 500 individual nominations. Clients were then asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the following client service criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology.
