HOUSTON – Reed Smith today announced that Mariano Ornelas López, the former Legal Director of CENAGAS (Centro Nacional de Control del Gas Natural) – the Mexican government entity that manages the country's natural gas transportation and storage network – has joined Reed Smith in Houston. Ornelas joins the firm’s global Energy & Natural Resources Industry Group, and will serve as counsel in the firm’s 50-attorney Latin America Business Team.

In addition, Hollie Reiminger joins the firm’s Houston office as counsel in its Labor & Employment Group. Reiminger was previously with Stuart PC, where she focused on litigation and client counseling.

Also joining the Houston office is Haylie Treas, an experienced data security and privacy associate from Jennings Teague in Oklahoma City.

“We are very excited to start 2019 by welcoming such exceptional talent to our teams in Texas,” said Houston Office Managing Partner, Kenneth E. Broughton. “Mariano, whom we’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past, brings a deep and unique understanding of Mexico’s energy landscape. Likewise, Hollie and Haylie’s experience bolsters our growing employment and privacy practices, respectively.”
