Reed Smith has advised METabolic EXplorer (METEX), an industrial biochemicals company that develops, markets and operates industrial fermentation processes, on the creation of its subsidiary METEX NØØVISTA and its financing in the amount of €44 million provided by METEX, the funds Fonds SPI - Sociétés de Projets Industriels and Fonds BEI - Sociétés de Projets Industriels, managed by Bpifrance Investissement and other partners. With its mission to industrialize an innovative fermentation process, this new entity reflects METEX's ambition to become a major industrial and commercial player in the area of green chemistry.
