Qureshi re-joins the firm from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, where he served as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA). Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he was an associate in the Commercial Litigation Group in Reed Smith’s New York and Washington, D.C., offices for five years.

While serving in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Qureshi held a senior position in the Cyber Crime Section of the Criminal Division, as well as serving in various positions in the Superior Court Division. He led numerous federal grand jury investigations and prosecuted matters involving wire fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, hacking, business email compromise schemes, aggravated identity theft and various violent crimes.

Over the course of his career in U.S. Attorney’s Office, Qureshi tried more than 30 cases to verdict, earning numerous special achievement awards during his tenure. He is a 2007 graduate of Howard University School of Law.
