Global law firm Reed Smith announced today that it advised Concord in connection with its purchase of the music catalogues of Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford. The deal covers the entirety of each artist’s work as a recording artist and songwriter in respect of Genesis, Mike + The Mechanics, and each of their solo works.

Accordingly, Concord’s purchase included the master recording and musical composition rights to such classics like “In The Air Tonight,” “Against All Odds,” “Follow You Follow Me,” “Misunderstanding,” and ”That’s All,” amongst countless other evergreen hits.

Concord is the independent, worldwide leader in the development, management and acquisition of sound recordings, music publishing and theatrical performance rights.
