Already a key player in infrastructure integrity management, this strategic transaction is part of INFRANEO’s ongoing development and diversification strategy. Thanks to this deal, INFRANEO will expand its share in highly technical industrial markets – particularly the energy, petrochemical, nuclear, and maritime infrastructure sectors.
Headquartered in Martigues and Le Havre, CIA has built a strong reputation in equipment integrity testing. Its acquisition will enhance the expertise of Technipipe, INFRANEO’s subsidiary dedicated to pipeline integrity management and cathodic protection. This merger will enable the group to offer a broader and more integrated range of services to meet the growing demands for performance, safety, and operational readiness from industrial clients seeking to ensure the long-term sustainability of their facilities.
Reed Smith acted as legal advisor to INFRANEO on the corporate aspects of the transaction. The team was led by corporate partner Marc Fredj and corporate associate Antéa Bonito.
