Justin is an associate in the firm’s Global Corporate Group and a member of On-Chain: Reed Smiths Crypto & Digital Assets team. His practice is focused on advising clients on a wide range of tax matters with particular emphasis on domestic and international corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures including tax-free spin-offs, restructurings, tax-free reorganizations, joint ventures, and financing transactions. In addition, Justin advises on tax related issues with respect to crypto related fund structures, blockchain lending platforms, and decentralized finance (DeFi) transactions, including the tax consequences associated with crypto mining, crypto lending, and transactions within the metaverse.
