Natsayi is a partner in the firm's Financial Industry Group with experience litigating complex commercial matters. Natsayi works with teams tasked with defending national putative class actions, ranging from class actions related to consumer financial services to biometric class actions under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. She has experience in complex litigation matters, ranging from fee disputes to lender liability to consumer fraud to contractual disputes to violations of federal and state consumer protection statutes. She also provides risk management counseling to clients in the garnishments and setoffs space.
Natsayi has handled all stages of litigation in state and federal courts ranging from developing legal strategy, initial pleadings, to discovery (i.e., drafting demands, engaging in motions practice, and taking and defending depositions), to dispositive motions, to trial, to appellate briefing.
Natsayi is also committed to issues of diversity in the industry, having also been recognized for making a significant contribution to gender diversity by colleagues, and in the community, and currently serves as the Market Chair of the New York Office Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. As part of that role, Natsayi is part of a team developing the New York Office’s Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP). Natsayi is on the New York Office’s Recruiting Committee, and also is part of leadership for the New York Office’s Women’s Initiative Network Committee.
