Nneka Witter represents talent and companies in the music, entertainment, and media industries. She advises clients on agreements that drive the creation, development, production, and exploitation of music and audiovisual content, with additional focus on brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and name, image, and likeness (NIL) matters for public figures.
Prior to returning to Reed Smith, Nneka held executive-level roles at Interscope Records and served in legal positions at YouTube and Twitter, gaining extensive experience with complex licensing, rights management, and deal structures at the intersection of content and technology.
Nneka previously practiced in Reed Smith’s New York office from 2017 to 2019. Her combined in-house, executive, and law firm background enables her to provide counsel that is legally sound, strategically informed, and attuned to the unique needs of celebrity and high-profile clientele.
