Evan has developed a multi-faceted practice that has touched all corners of the technology and media industries, with experience advising sophisticated corporate clients on a variety of transactions and regulations, both in the traditional and crypto economies.
Evan’s clients have included digital-asset issuers and other software developers, premier token exchanges, DAOs and DeFi and web3 projects seeking to decentralize, global crypto-mining firms, superstar-level talent and their teams and partners, all manner of media-production companies, investment funds, high-net-worth investors and other tech- and media-focused entrepreneurs.
Evan began his career in the New York City offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (STB), where he engaged in a broad-based corporate practice with experience in securities, mergers & acquisitions, private equity and debt-finance transactions. At STB, Evan regularly represented clients that rank among the world’s largest financial institutions on complex nine- and ten-figure transactions. Thereafter, Evan spent years representing tech startups, Hollywood filmmakers and talent and institutions at the heights of the music industry, honing skills that are directly applicable to issues his blockchain clients face each day.
Outside of his work for the firm, Evan is a crypto native, keeping deeply informed of and engaged with legal, technological and market developments throughout the space.
