PHILADELPHIA – Reed Smith, a global law firm, today announced the appointment of Wayne Stansfield as managing partner of its Philadelphia office, effective immediately.

A 1997 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, Stansfield joined Reed Smith in 1998.  He is a partner in the firm’s Complex Litigation Group and focuses his practice on resolving client disputes in complex commercial litigation matters.  Stansfield represents clients in conducting internal investigations, corporate governance, construction, contract disputes, deceptive trade practices and unfair competition, restrictive covenant, and trade secret matters. He has extensive experience in jury and bench trials, arbitrations and mediations, and litigates matters in jurisdictions throughout the country.
