LONDON – Reed Smith has advised the joint bookrunners, Jefferies International Limited (Jefferies) and Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited (SNEL), on a secondary fundraising for infrastructure investment company BBGI Sicav (BBGI).

The accelerated bookbuild, which closed on 13 September, raised £67.2 million through the placing of 48 million shares, which will be admitted to the premium segment of the official list and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market.

Leading the team at Reed Smith was partner, and co-head of the firm’s global corporate group, Delphine Currie supported by associates Johnathan Webber and Chloe Man. Client relationship partner for Jefferies, Daniel Winterfeldt supported on U.S. securities, alongside associate Trish O’Donnell.

This transaction continues Reed Smith’s relationship with Jefferies and SNEL, who are joint bookrunners to BBGI. In April 2017, Reed Smith advised on a secondary fundraising, which raised £58.5 million, and in April 2018 advised on a further placing, which was significantly oversubscribed and raised £60.8 million.
