Adam joins the firm from BPP University Law School where he was Head of Development (Innovation Technology). During his time at the university he designed, implemented and led the Legal Technology Innovation and Design course. Adam’s responsibilities were split between thought leadership and the implementation of innovation solutions for both the university and its 60 client law firms, where he ran proof of concepts and pilots to understand the effects of legal technology and business process change and to assist the training and preparation of lawyers for the future of the profession.

Prior to joining BPP Adam was an associate at White & Case where he focused on corporate law.

In his role at Reed Smith, he will work closely with the firm’s lawyers, Practice Innovation and IT development teams to implement ideas to drive internal efficiencies, as well as identify collaboration opportunities with Reed Smith’s clients to deliver new products and services which will enhance legal service delivery.

Adam will also run the firm’s Innovation Hub in London, which opened in October 2016. The space sits in the centre of the firm’s client meeting areas and was planned with the principles of co-working at its heart to ensure a versatile environment to support collaboration.

Reed Smith has two more Innovation Hubs in New York and Chicago. The hubs’ purpose is to act as catalysts for clients to meet with the firm’s lawyers and contacts, providing them with access to both expertise and connections that will unlock new commercial opportunities and solutions.
