DUBAI - Global law firm Reed Smith’s Middle East office managing partner, Sachin Kerur has for the second year running been named in Construction Week’s Power 100 list. This is an annual ranking of the most influential people in the Middle East's construction industry.

After joining the firm in 2018, Kerur has played a key role in driving the growth of the firm in the Middle East. In the past twelve months, Reed Smith’s Middle East construction practice has seen considerable growth and is now of the strongest in the region. There has also been marked progress of the firm’s Middle East industry groups including Energy and Resources, Global Corporate Disputes, Corporate and Banking, and Finance.

Kerur is supported by a growing regional and global team of construction lawyers with expertise in both between transactional and contentious matters. The firm’s team of multilingual lawyers have strong connections in and understanding of the region, notably in the energy, construction and projects sectors. The announcement comes off the back of the release of the 2020 Legal 500 rankings. Sachin along with Michelle Nelson (also from the Dubai office) received recognition in UAE Construction Hall of Fame, distinguishing them as market leaders.
