Anja joined Reed Smith Richards Butler LLP in 2021 and is currently an associate in the Litigation Department in Hong Kong. She qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales and has assisted with domestic and international enterprises and individuals in disputes relating to international trade, commercial transactions, shipping, litigation and arbitration.
Anja has assisted with advising and handling arbitration as well as court proceedings in relation to cargo claims, hire claims, bunker claims and insurance claims. Aside from drafting court documents, she has also assisted with drafting powers of attorney, contracts and charterparties to facilitate transactions involving real properties and ships.
Anja has assisted in obtaining favourable judgments and orders from the Hong Kong courts and English courts, as well as achieving settlement in favour of her clients.
She provided pro bono legal services at the University of Hong Kong during her studies.
