Kenny is a partner in the firm’s State Tax Group helping clients with issues involving corporate income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, and gross receipts taxes throughout the country. He works collaboratively with clients to resolve these issues most frequently in state tax audits and administrative appeals, but also in litigation in court when necessary. He has handled state tax matters in over 20 taxing jurisdictions.

In addition to helping clients resolve tax assessments, Kenny also works closely with clients to proactively and strategically pursue state tax savings where the result can oftentimes be significant refunds of taxes. Kenny and his colleagues in the State Tax Group are leaders in this area, and they are constantly working to develop new approaches to bring value to their clients.
