The Entertainment & Media team have for some time been saying Every Company is a Media Company. A recent article in Forbes magazine reported that the first internet streaming and usage figures show that total internet hits have surged by between 50% and 70%, and streaming has also jumped by at least 12% since the need to stay home has been enforced across the globe. This is anticipated to increase in the coming weeks as much of the world continues the COVID-19 lockdown.

With this in mind, the Reed Smith Entertainment & Media Industry Group have released their guide to live streaming, providing a user-friendly handbook to law and practice relating to live delivery of content over the Internet.
