David is a member of the Life Sciences Health Industry Group in Reed Smith’s Washington, D.C. office, where he assists on an array of health care litigation and regulatory matters.
David has experience representing health care providers before federal district and appellate courts across the country in disputes relating to the False Claims Act (FCA), the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), constitutional law, and contract law. Leveraging his litigation background, David also has experience conducting internal investigations and advising clients on the risks of litigation and strategies for ensuring compliance with myriad federal health care laws.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, David was an associate at a boutique health law firm in Washington, D.C. During law school, David enjoyed success as a member of Moot Court, Trial Team, and the Yearbook for Arbitration and Mediation. He was also selected as a National Member of The Order of Barristers for having exhibited excellence and attained high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy.
