George is a partner in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group, having trained at Reed Smith for two years. During his training, George worked in Shipping, Global Commercial Disputes, Finance and spent six months on secondment in the Abu Dhabi office.
George has broad litigation and arbitration experience, with a focus on arbitration related work. He has worked on arbitrations under the rules of major international arbitration institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC") and the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes ("ICSID").
Before joining Reed Smith, George worked for the Bank of Scotland and a refugee legal aid clinic in Egypt.
George was seconded to an international bank for six months to work in its Contentious and Regulatory Legal Department. He is recognised as a Rising Star by the 2013 London Super Lawyers List for Commercial Litigation.
