Dominic Rupprecht is a litigator whose practice focuses on insurance coverage disputes on behalf of policyholders. As part of his insurance coverage practice, Dominic has assisted policyholders in recovering more than $100 million from their insurers for claims arising from environmental liabilities, cyber losses, toxic torts, False Claims Act liabilities, first-party losses, and other claims.  Dominic has won rulings on behalf of his clients on issues of first impression related to the scope of the duty to defend, whether a PRP Notice qualifies as a “suit” under a general liability policy, and the transfer of coverage rights.  Dominic has also assisted policyholders in securing coverage without the need for litigation, negotiating coverage-in-place agreements, and counseling clients regarding their insurance programs.
